Helping Hand of Science - Volume

Big difference between this helping hand video from last year and the one recently posted at the beginning of this year.. It is MUCH TOO LONG but is comprehensive in explaining volume of liquid and solid.

If you finish your lab work, begin making a helping hand video of your own.  Perhaps something a fifth grader could understand.

It will be challenging - There is alot of information to cover in a very short time.

Your video should be no longer than 3 minutes.  WHAT????  Yep - no longer than 3 minutes and should include the following:

  • Explain the concept of volume - by definition
  • Explain how to find volume of a liquid (include meniscus)
  • Explain how to find volume of a regularly shaped object
  • Explain how to find volume of an irregularly shaped object
  • Explain the relationship between 1 cubic centimeter and 1ml
