Science during Christmas Break!

For the first time in 20 years, my Brother came to visit us in Singapore. It's always been extremely difficult for him to get away for any extended period of time, as he owns an architectural firm in Florida.  However, since this is our last year in Singapore he decided to buck up and make the trip.  He and his fiancé spent eight glorious days with us exploring Singapore.  It was amazing to explore the city with newcomers. Everything that has become normal and commonplace to us was awe inspiring to them-from walks in nature parks to exploring the rich ethnic enclaves.  From chili crab, laksa, kaya toast to checking out the buildings throughout the city.
It was a rich experience for us to see the architecture of Singapore through their eyes.  Did you know that we have a building in Singapore that was voted the WORLD BUILDING OF THE YEAR in 2015.  It's not Marina Bay Sands or the Esplanade!  It's an apartment building on Telok Blangah that I never knew existed called "The Interlace".  Indeed an engineering and design marvel.
