Water Cycle, Aquifers, and Singapore's 4 National Taps

Water is a non renewable resource. What does that mean? Think of the water cycle you learned in elementary school. Before we begin today's lesson let's take a look at three things.

 1. The water cycle: As a reminder - watch the Tim and Moby clip on water cycle.










2. Where does our drinking water come from? What is the water table and what is an aquifer?Again...watch Tim and Moby, but this time, take the review quiz after you're finished, just to check your understanding.  No need to print it off - it's just for your understanding.










3. Singapore is an island of over 5 million people. How does Singapore get it's water? Watch the video below and in your journal explain Singapore's 4 National Taps. Singapore has been studied by countries all over the world for its ingenious water conservation.
